It is no problem to interrupt the process of uploading your data. You can return to the upload process anytime and as often as you like. Just make sure that all made changes are saved. Your dataset will only be published and available online for others if you click on the green “Publish” button in the “"Versions & Publish” button in the “My data" menu.
