How do I transcribe interviews?
Several software solutions exist for transcribing audio-visually recorded interviews. F4transkript is a widely-used software which offers a short free manual on how to transcribe. Some computer-assisted qualitative data analysis software (CAQDAS) like MAXQDA offer built-in transcription tools. Another CAQDAS software, NVivo, offers an (fee-based) audio transcription tool which automatically converts audio recordings into text transcripts.
