Can I add a dataset without the data itself?
Yes, this is possible with our "broker model", which allows adding records of datasets - including the metadata and the Documentation of Data Collection - without the data itself. The data itself, for example, can be stored on the website of your institution or a third-party website, like another repository, and a link to the dataset itself can be provided. The data could also be stored on your computer (not recommended) and access given upon request. This "broker model" allows for adding data records without storing data at Discuss Data.
