Description
The aim of this data collection is to present the protest actions in Belarus from 01 January 1997 until 31 December 2020. This database lists 545 protest actions in total. The data are based on a comprehensive search in multiple international news agencies via the Factiva service. The data set covers all identified protest events that contain an explicit information on the number of participants (including descriptions like “dozens”) and that had more than ten participants.
