Description

The dataset includes 75 in-depth interviews with Maidan and Anti-Maidan protesters and law-enforcement officers overseeing the public order during the protest events in 2013-2014 that were collected in 10 Ukrainian cities from all macro-regions of the country. See details of the data collection in "Interview collection and profiles of interviewees (an)" document. The dataset includes records and transcripts of the interviews, interview guides, and the socio-demographic profile of the interviewees.

The interviews were collected for the book "The Maidan Uprising: Mobilization, Radicalization, and Revolution in Ukraine, 2013-2014" (preliminary title) by Volodymyr Ishchenko, Oleksii Viedrov, Andrii Gladun, and Mykhailo Slukvin. Restricted access to the interview data will be allowed after the book is published (ca. 2024) for academic research purposes only.
