The functioning of social centres in the face of the refugee reception crisis following the outbreak of war in Ukraine

Description

A qualitative research study conducted in six Polish voivodships in July 2022 using computer-assisted web interviewing (CAWI) in local social welfare institutions where most war refugees were accommodated. It attempts to describe the tasks and organisational changes of social welfare institutions from the perspective of social workers' experiences.
The survey was conducted among 402 respondents. It was carried out using non-probability purposive sampling because a relatively small population with a well-known structure was studied and all its representatives could be accessed.
